The Kenya Airshow Festival 2013
The 50 Treasures of Kenya courtesy of the Aero Club of East Africa will present the 'Happy Birthday Kenya!' car, the '50 Treasures of Kenya' Quiz and a photographic exhibition at the premises of the Tusker Air Show on the coming weekend. Come and meet us, joining thousands of Kenyans thronging the Wilson Airport, Nairobi for the Tusker Air Show Festival dubbed the 'Biggest Air Show in Africa Outside of South Africa'.
The Air Show which was initially scheduled for the 14th and 15th December but was postponed to 21st and 22nd due to the heavy rains that pounded Nairobi recently is finally here and the weather looks great promising lots of exciting moments.
“Building on a rich tradition from Kenya’s first air show in Kitale in 1956, through the Caltex Air Shows of the mid 1990’s, to the largest public show in 2002 with more than fifteen thousand spectators, the 2013 Kenya Air Show Festival will be an impressive showcase of achievement by our aviators and aviation industry over the last fifty years.”

Kenya Music Week
The Kenya Music Week was created to provide an accessible public forum for Industry stakeholders (i.e. musicians, producers, promoters, distributors, media, consumers, government & NGOs) to interact and produce solutions to Industry problems.
This year, Kenya Music week celebrates its 10th anniversary in style and pomp while at the same time celebrating Kenya’s 50th anniversary of independence. The event is absolutely free and promises a lot of entertainment as the heavy weights of Kenya’s music industry take the stage to do what they do best.

Tusker Air Show Festival
2013 seems a great opportunity for the air show’s comeback as the country celebrates 50 years of independence. “The Tusker Air Show Festival will be a magnificent way to celebrate Kenya’s Jubilee,” says Rob Linck, Chairman of the Aero Club.
The air show festival will run for two days, on 14th and 15th of December, and is expected to attract 25,000 visitors.

Kenya's Diamond Jubilee Classical Concert
The event will feature a command performance by the Oxford Philomusica, specially flown in for the concert. Guests will include the Diplomatic community, Corporate community, heads of NGO's, Ministers and movers and shakers in Kenya all coming to listen to a grand classical concert.

Boost For Kenya @50 Celebrations
Samsung is scheduled to plaster bill boards across the country in collaboration with Kenya @50 including the unveiling of a panoramic digital advertising screen at the top of Kenya International Conference Centre (KICC) building.
Robert Ngeru, the Samsung EA Chief Operating Officer said the company will provide strategic billboards across the country, as well as the nation's first panoramic digital advertising screen that is undergoing test runs at the KICC to promote the monumental building as the regional premier meeting centre.

Sondeka festival is Kenya’s first annual creative festival which serves as a platform for numerous events, activities, exhibitions that showcase Kenya’s creative industry and promote Kenya as Africa’s center for creativity and investment opportunities.
The event shall take place at Greenhouse Mall on Ngong Road, Nairobi on 29th of November, 30th of November and 1st of December and shall bring together the public, creatives, tourists and other stakeholders in the creative industry.

National Museums of Kenya Science Conference 2013
The fourth edition of the National Museums of Kenya Science Conference will be held from the 6th to 8th November at the Louis Leakey Auditorium of the National Museums Kenya’s Headquarters Nairobi. The theme of this year’s Conference is dubbed “MUSEUM RESEARCH & CLIMATE CHANGE” The Conference will focus on the following objectives:

Total Solar Eclipse
On November 3rd, 2013, a total solar eclipse will pass over equatorial Gabon in Western Africa, Congo, Uganda, Kenya and finally Ethiopia. Lodwar in Kenya reports a very encouraging “74 percent of possible sunshine”, a strong confirmation of a pronounced decline in cloudiness toward the eastern end of the eclipse track.
It definitely is a memorable event of a lifetime to witness the rare astronomical phenomenon over one of Kenya’s least travelled regions.
